Nov, 11, 2011 -- Today, Veterans’ Day, FireWhat Inc. is proud to announce a new program, the Hero of the Week. FireWhat believes that every single firefighter deserves recognition for the exemplary willingness to make the ultimate sacrifice for another, on a daily basis. The program is designed to pick one of the thousands out there who make an example above and beyond.
About FireWhat's Hero of the Week
We will search through the week for a particular standout, one whose actions or life’s work stand out as above and beyond the already extraordinary call of duty. Any input, through our Hero of the Week nomination page, is of course more than welcome. While final decisions will be made by the FireWhat staff, we would love to have community input for the Hero of the Week.
