Full-stack Developer (Bend, Oregon)

FireWhat, Inc., an emerging technology company and Esri Partner located in Bend, Oregon, has an exciting opportunity for a full-stack developer to help create next-generation web mapping applications in the wildfire, ag, and water spaces. We are looking for a talented and creative developer to help design, build and advance our products! It's a great time to join our growing company and be part of small, agile, high-performing team.

The developer will:
- Design, write, and document code
- Test and deploy web applications
- Strategize with other team developers in design discussions
- Participate in software requirement assessments and all phases of Scrum-based development

Qualified candidates will have experience with:
- Ruby on Rails
- MVC-like Javascript frameworks such as Backbone.js, Ember.js or AngularJS
- Bootstrap framework
- HTML5 and CSS3
- ArcGIS Javascript API
- Git source version control
- Agile development methodologies

The ideal candidate will have familiarity with:
- Javascript testing frameworks such as Jasmine
- Dojo Javascript framework
- Leaflet Javascript library
- ArcGIS SDK for iOS, Android
- PostgreSQL/PostGIS database administration
- Linux system administration
- Windows Server system administration
- Node.js/Express/Restify
- AWS system administration (EC2, RDS, VPC, ELB, clusters, etc)
- ArcGIS Server administration (deployment, maintenance, Portal, SOE/SOI, etc.)
- ArcGIS Server GeoEvent extension
- ArcGIS Online
- Python
- API development (architecting new APIs)
