2017 Fire Safety Awareness Class for Hired Vendors

This is a one day / 8 hour course is for hired vendors working with CAL FIRE or USFS on any active wildland fire, including, water tenders operations, heavy equipment with water operations (Skidgine), dozer operators, crew bus drivers, vehicle drivers, mechanics, fallers, swampers, and chain saw operators.

This course provides an awareness of fireline safety to hired vendors who plan to engage in wildland fire suppression and other incident support activities. Topics include current safety training, relevant policy and procedures, how to recognize and mitigate risk, and maintain safe and effective practices while working under agency supervision on an incident. Upon successful completion of training, participants will receive a course completion card valid for one (1) year from date of issue.

REGISTRATION FEES

Class fee is $80.00 plus registration fees. Class fee includes the $20 fee to register your course with the Cal-Fire office. Lunch is NOT included.

REFUNDS
Only the class fee is refundable in the case of cancellation. The additional registration fee is NOT refundable. The cost of the class is fully refundable 1 (one) week before the scheduled date and request for refunds within the 6 days before the scheduled date will not be refunded. Please keep this in mind when making your reservation for the scheduled date.

CLASS SIZE
